NPM Group Pty Ltd is an international company based in Townsville, Queensland, Australia that was formed in 1991 by the company's current directors, Tom and Jill Cummins. In both 2005 and 2006, NPM Group was awarded the Regional Exporter of the Year Award and the Services Award in the Premier of Queensland's Export Awards. NPM Group has successfully operated as project managers, contractors and modular home buildings for over thirteen years and through its Principals, for over 30 years in the construction industry. The company's background is the on-the-ground construction of large projects, principally for Government and major corporate bodies requiring overall town development, specific construction and/or upgrading projects. NPM Group's experience in these areas has shown the benefit of carrying out all work in continual consultation with the client body. This, together with our high priority on quality, has resulted in projects being completed on time and to the satisfaction of all involved. Tom Cummins is the Managing Director of the NPM Group team. Tom is a Registered Builder (in Queensland and Western Australia), a Member of the Australian Institute of Project Management, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a member of the Master Builders Association of Australia. Since 1980 Tom has been responsible for the successful completion of projects to a current value of over $450 million, requiring a high level of expertise and competence. During his career Tom has had the privilege of being involved in the design and development of a number of new townships in the Central Queensland area. This, together with his technical and practical knowledge, make him one of a small number who have the ability and experience to plan, co-ordinate and overview the total construction of a town through all facets of design, layout, and construction of civil works, public utilities, housing, commercial requirements and the myriad of other factors which come together to become a town. Because of the depth of experience in both modular and site construction buildings, Ark Homes, the trading name for NPM Group in the construction of modular homes, has a yardstick of comparison that enables a high quality product to be offered at reasonable prices.
