EZI BUILD HOMES AND BUILDINGS, FIJIEZIBUILD is a division of Northern Projects Fiji Ltd (NPF) with headquarters in Suva, Fiji. EZIBUILD primarily manufactures and erects kit homes and buildings. The export of the EZIBUILD product from Fiji to various other countries is made simple by the ease of access to port facilities at Suva which is a part of the major international shipping routes. All buildings are constructed utilising the high quality plantation timber that is available in Fiji. The houses are engineered to take into consideration the stress placed on them during travel. Construction of modular homes is completed in a factory thus eliminating weather related delays and allowing building materials to be kept clean and dry. The homes use Mitek roof trusses and wall frames that are manufactured in EZIBUILD'S truss plant in Suva. An innovative approach to design and construction techniques has resulted in attractive and functional low cost housing which are extremely well received by the market. These house designs are very adaptable to suit different climate and cultural preferences. This same system is used to provide larger housing, schools and commercial buildings. EZIBUILD products are designed and constructed to the specific cyclone and seismic requirements of the region into which they are going and receive individual Engineering Certification. Production CapabilityThe company has for some time been manufacturing relocatable buildings in Fiji, having the first operation of its kind in that country. It is to be noted that about one hundred and forty of our houses were in the region hit by Cyclone Gordon. Every one withstood the force of this Category 4 cyclone with no major damage, despite winds gusting to 240km per hour. Our facility, which is located in Lami, Suva, allows these houses to be constructed totally under cover. |
